You deserve comfort and elegance
You deserve comfort and elegance
''I found silk, and running my hands through it, I knew this had to be a part of our collection.''
With the harsh personal and societal realities we face everyday: an oasis of peace and serenity becomes something we need to practice good self-care. Many of us find this oasis in our bedrooms and living rooms. No matter the shape and size of our bedrooms and living room, we decided that everyone values a good pillow to rest their head on at the end of a busy day. We knew immediately we wanted to start a business that did this our own, unique way. The curating process began.
Setting off to suppliers both close and far, we cruised through isles with rolls of fabrics as far as the eye could see, and paid attention to not only the look, but the feel of these fabrics. First, I stumbled upon a number of fabrics that caught my eye. Something that could be turned into a conversation piece in someone's living room. That final touch on a bed. I found silk, and running my hands through it, I knew this had to be a part of our collection. I liked it so much I gave it it's own separate space: "the Silk Hauus".
While silk pillows are typically known for their comfort in the living room, they can spruce up your living room, or even be thrown on the bed for a more neutral style. Apart from looking great, here are three reasons why your skin and hair will thank you.
keep moisture where it belongs
When we lay our head to sleep for the night, some of us toss around more than others.
While other fabrics soak up all of your skin's natural oils, silk will make sure your oils and your skin care routine stays where it belongs.
You get to avoid pesky wrinkles
Mulberry silk demonstrably reduces friction on the face, allowing your skin to glide along your pillow as you move in your sleep.
This reduces the sort of pressure that helps wrinkles form on your face.
You Stay Pure
With silk, there's less friction. More friction means more opportunity for the products your skin make contact with to scrape up bacteria and fungeses that aren't good for you.
With silk, you aren't giving those bad guys a chance to hide out on the products you let near your precious face.
